Job PurposeThe AI/RPA Developer in the AI/RPA Center of Excellence at the Shared Service Center in Pune designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports secure, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions for European and global business operations. The role converts approved business and operational requirements into production-ready solutions using UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, and SAP Build Process Automation. The Developer works closely with Process Owners, Business Analysts, operational teams and IT specialists, applies structured Requirements Engineering practices, and contributes across the full automation lifecycle from process assessment and solution design through deployment, hyper care and continuous improvement.

The role requires practical understanding of enterprise operational processes; working hours overlap with the European business day and occasional travel when required.Key Responsibilities

(max. 8 items)

- Design, develop, configure, test and deploy attended and unattended automation solutions using UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate and SAP Build Process Automation in line with CoE standards.
- Analyze approved requirements, process maps, business rules, exceptions, controls and acceptance criteria; clarify gaps with Business Analysts, Process Owners and operational subject-matter experts.
- Develop robust, reusable and supportable automation components, including workflows, integrations, queues, forms, approvals, exception handling, logging and notifications.
- Integrate automation solutions with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft 365, APIs, databases, files and other approved enterprise applications while following security and access controls.
- Perform unit, integration and regression testing; support user acceptance testing, release preparation, deployment, hyper care and operational handover.
- Monitor production automations, investigate failures, resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive improvements.
- Maintain complete technical and operational documentation, including solution designs, configuration records, test evidence, runbooks, support guides and change records.
- Contribute to peer reviews, reusable assets, development standards, knowledge sharing,



process improvement and responsible adoption of AI-enabled automation capabilities.

Education (provided by HR)Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or related fields. Preferred: Relevant certifications in UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform/Power Automate, SAP Build Process Automation, Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering or Lean/Six Sigma.Core Experience (if applicable)Mandatory:

- 7+ years of professional experience in RPA, workflow automation, software development, digital operations or enterprise application delivery.
- At least 4+ years of hands-on development experience with UiPath, including delivery of production automations using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
- Practical experience developing Microsoft Power Automate cloud flows and/or desktop flows, including connectors, approvals, error handling and environment-aware deployment.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP Build Process Automation or demonstrated experience developing workflow and automation solutions within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience applying Requirements Engineering or business-analysis practices, including elicitation support, requirements clarification, process analysis, acceptance criteria and traceability.
- Practical understanding of operational processes in at least one enterprise function such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, HR or IT service operations.
- Experience with testing, release, production monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, root-cause analysis and technical documentation.
- Valuable business English and ability to collaborate directly with European stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Optional but Valuable:

- Experience in an automotive, industrial manufacturing, SSC/GBS or multi-country operating environment.
- Experience with SAP Signavio, process mining, or task mining for process analysis and automation discovery.
- Exposure to UiPath Document Understanding, Microsoft AI Builder, OCR, generative AI, Copilot or human-in-the-loop automation.




- Experience with APIs, SQL, JSON/XML, Azure services, Microsoft 365 integration, source control and CI/CD.
- UiPath Certified Professional, Microsoft Power Platform or SAP Build certification.

Functional skills / Hard Skills Mandatory:

- UiPath Studio and Orchestrator, including RE Framework or equivalent frameworks, queues, assets, credentials, logging, exception handling, scheduling and monitoring.
- Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud flows, desktop flows, connectors, approvals, solutions, environment variables and application lifecycle fundamentals.
- SAP Build Process Automation, including workflows, forms, decisions, tasks, automation components and integration concepts.
- Requirements Engineering and process analysis, including as-is/to-be understanding, business rules, exceptions, controls, BPMN awareness, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Automation engineering practices covering modular design, reusable components, secure credential handling, code review, version control, testing, deployment and maintainability.
- SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA process and integration knowledge, including safe interaction with business transactions and data.
- Production support capability, including monitoring, debugging, incident and problem analysis, root-cause identification, and corrective actions.
- Clear technical documentation, stakeholder communication, estimation, prioritization, and delivery discipline.

Optional but Valuable:

- Power Apps, Power BI, Power Query, Dataverse and Microsoft Power Platform governance.
- APIs, SQL, JSON, XML, regular expressions, Python, VB.NET, C# or other relevant scripting and integration skills.
- SAP Signavio Process Manager, Collaboration Hub, Process Intelligence, process mining or task mining.
- Document understanding, OCR, NLP, AI Builder, machine learning and responsible generative AI integration.
- Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, ITIL, Agile delivery and Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement methods.
