Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Rice Sortex Service Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of rice color sortex machines at customer sites. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems and be willing to travel for customer support and service activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and calibrate rice color sortex machines at customer locations.

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime.

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic faults.

- Troubleshoot CCD cameras, LED lighting systems, ejectors, air compressors, sensors, and control systems.

- Optimize machine settings to improve sorting accuracy, efficiency, and product quality.

- Train customer operators on machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

- Conduct scheduled service visits and prepare detailed service reports.





- Coordinate with technical support and spare parts teams for timely issue resolution and machine downtime reduction.

- Maintain service records, warranty documentation, and customer service logs.

- Ensure compliance with company service standards and customer satisfaction during in office support.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 5 - 8 years of experience in servicing Rice Color Sortex Machines or similar food processing equipment.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.

- Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting of sortex machines.

- Good understanding of industrial automation and control systems.

- Ability to travel extensively for customer service and field support.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer handling skills.
