Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven RHEL Ansible Automation Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role is critical for enhancing our automation capabilities, focusing on the independent development and execution of Ansible Playbooks and Roles to streamline application and infrastructure deployments. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert, capable of driving automation initiatives from conception to production, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability across our RHEL environments.

Experience with banking/BFSI environments and production support is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain complex Ansible Playbooks and Roles for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
- Independently execute and manage automation deployments across various environments, including production.




- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks and best practices.
- Provide production support for automated systems, ensuring high availability and quick recovery.

What You'll Do

- Architect and implement Ansible-based automation solutions for RHEL systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and effective Shell and Python scripts to support automation tasks.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development of automation code.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of automation projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards in all automation efforts.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge on automation best practices.
