Role Description The Revenue Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for driving revenue performance across rooms, events, and ancillary services. This role involves monitoring daily bookings, analyzing demand patterns, and adjusting pricing and inventory strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

The Revenue

Manager will prepare regular revenue reports, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate revenue recognition in coordination with the finance and accounting teams. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with sales and marketing to develop promotions,



evaluating distribution channels and online travel agency performance, and recommending strategy changes based on market trends and competitor analysis. The role also entails maintaining rate integrity, overseeing revenue-related systems and tools, and supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights for commercial decisions.

Qualifications

- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Proficiency in revenue management, including demand forecasting, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, including accurate revenue recognition practices.
- Experience using hotel revenue management systems, PMS, and reporting tools; advanced Excel skills are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in hospitality or convention center revenue management is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
