Crockery Palace, a division of SABCO Group, is looking for a Retail Staff to support our day-to-day retail operations. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling product sales, maintaining product displays, and ensuring smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a polite and professional manner.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Explain product features, prices, offers, and availability.
- Handle sales transactions and assist with billing when required.
- Maintain proper product arrangement and attractive displays.
- Ensure shelves and display areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Check product availability and coordinate with the concerned team for replenishment.
- Assist in receiving, checking, arranging, and moving stock.
- Handle crockery and other products carefully to avoid damage.
- Support inventory checking and stock counting.
- Maintain cleanliness and overall discipline within the showroom.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with the supervisor for complaints or special requirements.
- Follow company policies, store procedures, and working schedules.
- Perform other retail-related duties assigned by the Store Manager/HOD.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Plus Two / equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail, showroom, sales, or customer service will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good communication and customer-handling skills may also apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work according to retail/store working hours.
- Candidates from Thrissur and nearby areas are preferred.
