Role purpose

Lead day-to-day showroom operations to meet sales targets, provide a strong customer experience, maintain store and stock standards, and develop a productive sales team.

Key responsibilities

Sales and growth. Own daily, monthly and annual targets. Review sales and staff performance each morning; improve average transaction value (ATV), average selling price (ASP), units per transaction (UPT), basket size and category sell-through. Drive upselling, cross-selling, customer reactivation and local promotions.

Stock and presentation. Monitor stock cover and request replenishment to prevent lost sales. Follow FIFO, clear ageing and slow-moving stock, maintain minimum base quantity (MBQ), and keep displays, lighting, cleanliness and ambience in line with visual merchandising standards.

Store controls. Follow opening and closing procedures, cash reconciliation, daybook checks and bank deposits. Maintain one-file records and gift-coupon registers, prevent shrinkage and damage, complete stock checks, and submit accurate daily MIS to the Cluster Manager / Head Office.

Team leadership. Supervise the ASM,



cashiers and sales executives. Set rosters and individual targets; coach staff in product knowledge, selling, grooming, customer service, CRM and audit readiness. Plan festival staffing and support retention.

Customer service. Ensure attentive service and prompt billing, resolve escalated complaints within 24 hours, drive CRM enrolment and loyalty redemption, seek customer reviews, and share recurring feedback with the Cluster Manager.

Qualifications and capabilities

- Proven successful experience as a Retail Store Manager of 3 to 10 Years.
- Powerful Leading and Business Orientation skills.
- Excellent in Customer management and Analytical skills
- Valuable in communication and interpersonal skills
- Any Degree/ Retail Management courses/Business Management/Commerce/Economics
