POSITION DETAILS
We are looking for Pharmacists and Pharma Aids to join our growing retail pharmacy team in Hyderabad.
Candidates with good knowledge of medicines, retail pharmacy operations, customer handling and billing experience are preferred.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION For Pharmacist:
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm preferred
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration / applicable pharmacist registration required for pharmacist duties
For Pharma Aid / Pharmacy Assistant:
- Minimum Intermediate (10+2)
- Candidates with pharmacy retail experience will be preferred
PCI identifies D.Pharm, B.Pharm and Pharm.D among the approved qualifications for pharmacist registration.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience
- Maximum 8 years relevant experience
- Experience in retail pharmacy / medical store preferred
- Fresh candidates may be considered for suitable Pharma Aid positions based on skills and requirements
- Handle day-to-day retail pharmacy operations
- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescription and applicable requirements
- Maintain proper storage of medicines and healthcare products
- Follow company SOPs and pharmacy procedures
1. Medicine Knowledge
- Good knowledge of commonly used medicines
- Understand brands, generic names and basic medicine categories
- Check medicine name, strength, quantity, batch number and expiry
- Identify near-expiry and damaged stock and report appropriately
1. Prescription & Customer Handling
- Read and understand prescriptions accurately
- Assist customers with medicine availability and general product information
- Handle customers politely and professionally
- Escalate medical questions requiring a doctor/pharmacist's judgment
1. Billing & Computer Operations
- Generate customer bills accurately
- Handle POS/ERP billing systems
- Maintain customer details wherever required
- Support stock and inventory updates
1. Inventory Management
- Check incoming stock
- Verify quantity, batch and expiry
- Maintain proper shelf arrangement
- Support stock verification and physical inventory checks
- Report stock shortages, excess stock and expiry issues
1. Sales & Store Support
- Support store sales and customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and proper product display
- Promote company-approved offers and customer programs
- Support achievement of store targets
1. Shift Handover
- Complete proper shift handover
- Communicate pending orders, customer requirements, stock issues and operational matters to the next shift
REQUIRED SKILLS
