We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a Haldiram’s outlet in Jammu. The role will be responsible for ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining service and food quality standards, leading the team, driving sales, controlling costs, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Restaurant Operations

- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the outlet.
- Ensure smooth functioning of Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH).
- Maintain Haldiram’s operational, food quality, hygiene and service standards.
- Ensure timely opening and closing of the outlet as per SOPs.
- Monitor restaurant readiness, cleanliness and overall ambience.

2. Team Management

- Lead, motivate and manage the restaurant team.
- Plan manpower deployment and shift schedules according to business requirements.
- Conduct team briefings and ensure clear communication of daily targets and priorities.
- Support recruitment, induction, training and performance management of team members.
- Maintain discipline and a positive working environment.

3. Customer Service

- Ensure high standards of customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer queries, complaints and feedback professionally.
- Take appropriate corrective action to resolve customer concerns.
- Ensure service standards and customer experience are consistently maintained.

4. Sales & Business Performance

- Drive outlet sales and achieve business targets.
- Monitor daily sales, footfall, average bill value and other operational KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales and customer retention.
- Support local marketing and promotional activities to increase outlet business.

5. Inventory & Cost Control

- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.




- Control food wastage, pilferage and operational losses.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage and handling of food and other materials.
- Monitor food and operational costs and take corrective actions wherever required.

6. Food Safety, Hygiene & Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Conduct regular checks of kitchen, dining area, storage and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain all required operational records and checklists.

7. Reporting & Coordination

- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports.
- Monitor outlet KPIs and share performance updates with the Operations/Cluster team.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Maintenance and other support functions.
- Ensure timely implementation of management instructions and business initiatives.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in QSR, restaurant, food retail or hospitality operations.
- Candidates with experience as Restaurant Manager / Outlet Manager / Unit Manager / Restaurant Operations Manager will be preferred.
- Experience in handling a high-volume outlet and a sizeable team will be an advantage.
- Candidates should be willing to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
