About The Role The Kunj Resort is looking for a responsible, trustworthy and hardworking Resident Resort Manager / Caretaker to manage the day-to-day operations of the resort.

The selected candidate will be responsible for guest handling, room and property management, housekeeping supervision, staff coordination, basic maintenance, daily records and overall upkeep of the resort.

This is a resident position, and the candidate must be willing to stay at the resort and take responsibility for the property in the absence of the owner/management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the resort and ensure smooth functioning.
- Welcome guests and assist with check-in, check-out and guest requirements.
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and ensure good customer service.
- Coordinate with guests regarding bookings and communicate through phone/WhatsApp/online booking platforms.
- Supervise housekeeping and other resort staff and ensure proper discipline and cleanliness.
- Regularly check rooms, bathrooms, common areas and the overall resort premises.
- Monitor electricity, water supply, basic inventory and other essential requirements.
- Handle minor maintenance issues and coordinate with electricians, plumbers, technicians and other service providers when required.
- Maintain basic records of room occupancy, bookings, payments, daily expenses and inventory.
- Maintain daily cash and expense records and submit regular updates/reports to management.
- Arrange basic daily-use materials and supplies with prior management approval.
- Ensure proper security and safety of guests, staff and resort property.




- Ensure the resort is properly opened/closed as required and remain available for urgent situations.
- Maintain the overall appearance, discipline, cleanliness and hospitality standards of the resort.
- Take responsibility for the property and coordinate necessary activities in the owner's/management's absence.

Candidate Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a hotel, resort, guest house, farmhouse, property management or hospitality role preferred.
- Honest, trustworthy, responsible and disciplined.
- Good communication and guest-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of mobile phone, WhatsApp and computer.
- Basic knowledge of maintaining accounts, cash records and daily expenses.
- Ability to supervise housekeeping and other staff.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and general property maintenance will be an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Must be willing to stay at the resort as a resident manager/caretaker.
- Local candidates or candidates willing to relocate are welcome.
