Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Resident Engineer role based in Khurda.

The Resident

Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities at the project site, monitor work progress, and ensure that all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, inspecting materials and workmanship, maintaining site records and reports, and supporting quality control and compliance with local regulations. The role also involves resolving technical issues on site, participating in progress meetings, and providing regular updates to project managers and clients.

Engineer is expected to support efficient project execution and contribute to risk management and continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to supervise in office construction activities, monitor quality, and ensure adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Strong skills in maintaining site documentation, preparing progress reports, and supporting compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical standards, and construction contracts, with basic familiarity with project management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in site engineering or resident engineer roles preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and make sound decisions under time and resource constraints.
- Willingness to work full time on site in Khurda and adhere to company safety policies and ethical standards.
