: Resident Laptop Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Resident Laptop Engineer to provide on-site support for laptops and end-user computing devices at the customer's location. The role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, performing upgrades and repairs, and ensuring minimal downtime for end users.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site support for laptops, desktops, and related peripherals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, including RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboard, battery, keyboard, display, and adapter failures.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications.
- Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacement of faulty components.
- Manage warranty-related service requests and coordinate with OEM vendors when required.
- Configure email clients, printers, scanners, and network connectivity.
- Install security patches, antivirus software, and system updates.
- Maintain asset inventory and service records.
- Log and track incidents through the ticketing system and ensure timely closure as per SLA.




- Escalate critical issues to the appropriate technical teams for resolution.[If applicable]

Required Qualifications & Preferred Skills · Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

· 1 to 3 years of experience in laptop/desktop support and hardware troubleshooting.

· Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking concepts.

· Hands-on experience in laptop disassembly, repair, and component replacement.

· Familiarity with Dell, HP, Lenovo, and other major laptop brands.

· Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.

· Knowledge of IT asset management and ticketing systems.

· OEM certification or hardware repair certification is an added advantage.

· Strong troubleshooting and customer-handling skills.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
