Role Description The Research & Verification Associate internship is a remote role focused on collecting, validating, and organizing information about GBV-related resources. Interns will research NGOs, helplines, shelters, legal aid providers, counseling services, medical facilities, and protection services, then verify details such as contact information, service scope, and availability. Day-to-day tasks include online research, reaching out to organizations for confirmation, maintaining structured databases or spreadsheets,



and documenting verification steps.

The role also involves summarizing resource information in clear, accessible language and flagging inconsistencies or outdated data for review. Interns collaborate with the core team to improve data quality, follow ethical guidelines, and support the development of an accurate resource directory.

Required Qualifications

- Fluent in Telugu (mandatory) — able to conduct calls and communicate clearly.

• Comfortable making outbound calls to organizations, government offices, and helplines.

• Data entry (Excel/Google Sheets).

• Reliable internet access and phone for calling.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Sensitivity and discretion when discussing GBV-related topics.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Prior experience in research, data verification, social work, or NGO work is a plus but not mandatory.

Work Arrangement

- Fully remote; flexible hours within the week.
- One mandatory monthly team meeting (location/mode to be shared).
- 1 month internship duration
