Essential Job Functions:

- Design and develop formulations for oral solid dosage forms (tablets, capsules) and/or Injectable dosage forms for regulatory markets for both general and oncology products as per project scope

- Conduct literature reviews and patent searches and able to make literature and patent reports

- Perform pre-formulation studies (excipient compatibility studies), Innovator characterization studies

- Hands on experience with formulation development equipments (Solid oral dosage forms – RMG, Blender, Compression machine, Coating machine, Fluid bed processor etc and Injectable dosage forms – Autoclave, Lyophilizer, pH meter etc)

- Strong understanding of QbD, DoE, and risk assessment tools





- Optimize formulations and manufacturing processes using techniques like DoE (Design of Experiments)

- Evaluate and interpret analytical data with respect to dissolution, assay, content uniformity, related compounds etc and refine formulations accordingly.

- Conduct batches from lab scale to pilot scale and can be able to troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues

- Preparation of PDR, protocols and reports, ANDA related documentation etc.

- Positive documentation and communication skills

Qualifications

- Experience required: 2 to 8 years

- Education: M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics
