Role Description The Research and Development Chemist will work full time on-site at Nuchem Dyestuffs (P) Ltd., located in Ahmedabad. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing reactive dye formulations and processes, including conducting laboratory experiments.

The chemist will analyze test data, troubleshoot formulation or process issues, and collaborate with QC and Management directly. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate lab records, preparing technical reports, supporting quality control initiatives,



and contributing to continuous improvement projects and new product development. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards in all laboratory and plant-related activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for data interpretation, problem-solving, and performance evaluation of dyes and related products.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) expertise, including experience in formulation development, process optimization, and innovation in dyes and dyes intermediates
- Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills, including safe handling of chemicals, operation of analytical instruments, and accurate documentation of experiments.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry or related field
- Beneficial skills include familiarity with reactive dye chemistry, and basic statistical analysis for experimental data.
