Job Summary

SBM Management Consulting Pvt Ltd. is looking for a qualified and experienced Research Analyst with strong analytical, managerial, and leadership skills to lead stock market research activities and support key business and operational functions.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting and supervising research across Equity and Futures & Options (F&O;), managing the research team, coordinating with senior management, and ensuring adherence to applicable SEBI Research Analyst regulations.

The ideal candidate should possess a valid NISM Series XV Research Analyst Certification, sound knowledge of Indian financial markets, and the ability to independently manage research, compliance, and managerial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock Market Research & Analysis

- Conduct and supervise research across equity markets, Futures & Options (F&O;), and related financial instruments.
- Analyse market trends, company fundamentals, technical indicators, and relevant economic developments.
- Prepare research reports, trading insights, and market outlooks in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review research output to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely dissemination.
- Monitor market developments and identify relevant research opportunities.

2. Team Management & Leadership

- Manage, guide, and coordinate the research team and its day-to-day activities.
- Allocate research assignments, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.




- Maintain research quality standards and encourage analytical excellence within the team.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective execution of research activities.

3. Business & Operational Responsibilities

- Work closely with senior management on business planning, operational decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely execution.
- Support business development initiatives through research-driven insights and market expertise.
- Handle additional managerial and operational responsibilities as required.

4. SEBI Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities

- Oversee applicable SEBI Research Analyst-related regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ensure research activities and reports adhere to applicable SEBI Research Analyst Regulations and internal compliance policies.
- Coordinate with compliance teams for documentation, disclosures, and regulatory requirements, as applicable.
- Maintain appropriate research records and support regulatory reviews or audits.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Valid NISM Series XV – Research Analyst Certification is mandatory.




- Must meet the qualification and certification requirements prescribed under applicable SEBI Research Analyst Regulations.
- Additional relevant financial market qualifications will be an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of the Indian stock market, Equity, and Futures & Options (F&O;).
- Proficiency in fundamental and/or technical research and market analysis.
- Strong managerial, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
