Role Description The Research and Development Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home. The specialist will design, develop, and refine educational programs, curricula, and learning modules aligned with the platform’s pillars of Programming, Entrepreneurship, Scientific Research, and Leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research on emerging educational trends, analyzing learner data and feedback, and creating evidence-based methodologies to improve learning outcomes.

The role involves collaborating with mentors, educators, and subject matter experts to pilot new initiatives, document R&D; findings,



and translate insights into scalable, student-centered solutions. The specialist will also support impact measurement, prepare research reports and presentations, and contribute to strategic planning for innovation across the organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills, with experience in designing and evaluating educational or learning-focused projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and the ability to draw actionable insights from quantitative and qualitative information.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including explicit written documentation, presentation abilities, and collaborative communication with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills or practical experimentation experience, especially in scientific or educational research environments.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Engineering, Science, or related fields are beneficial.
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or edtech, and a demonstrated interest in youth development, social impact, or nation-building initiatives is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple projects, and adapt to a agile, mission-driven environment is expected.
