The Relationship Manager – Mid Market – Sales will be responsible for acquiring, nurturing, and retaining mid‑market corporate customers for Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. This role involves understanding client needs, cross‑selling banking products, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized financial solutions that drive revenue and deepen client loyalty.

Responsibilities

- Identify and prospect new mid‑market corporate clients across target industries.
- Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients.
- Analyze client financial statements to recommend appropriate banking solutions.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for loan, treasury, and cash‑management products.
- Prepare and present customized proposals, credit proposals, and business cases.
- Coordinate with credit, risk, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and address client concerns proactively.




- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and generate performance reports.
- Participate in industry events and networking forums to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in relationship management or sales within the banking sector, focusing on mid‑market clients.
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking products such as term loans, working capital, trade finance, and treasury services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer‑centric mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Flexibility to travel within assigned territory as required.
- Skilled certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, or NISM) are a plus.
