Regional Manager – North & East India

About the Role
MIGUA Building Products is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Regional Manager – North & East India to take complete responsibility for sales, business development, project specification and channel development across the region.
The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, technically strong and commercially capable professional with substantial experience in the architectural/building materials industry. The candidate should have an established network among Architects, Façade Consultants, Structural Consultants, Developers, PMC/Project Management Consultants, Contractors, Government agencies, Airports and other key project stakeholders.
The position requires an individual who can independently develop the region, create project opportunities, drive product specifications and BOQ/tender inclusions, appoint and manage channel partners, and convert specified projects into business.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Sales & Business Development
Take complete ownership of MIGUA’s business development and sales activities across North and East India.
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve agreed revenue, specification and business-development objectives.
Identify upcoming commercial, residential, infrastructure, hospitality, healthcare, education, airport, government and institutional projects.
Develop projects from the early design stage through specification, tendering, procurement and order conversion.
Build a strong project pipeline and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting.
Independently manage customer meetings, negotiations, commercial discussions and project follow-ups.
- Architectural Specification & Project Development
Establish MIGUA as a specified and approved manufacturer for Expansion Joint Covers and Performance Louvres.
Develop strong relationships with Architects, Façade Consultants, Structural Consultants, Developers, PMCs, Contractors and Design Consultants.
Engage with design teams at the conceptual and detailed-design stages and understand project requirements.
Provide appropriate technical solutions based on architectural, structural and project requirements.
Ensure MIGUA products are incorporated into technical specifications, BOQs, tender documents and project drawings.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and CPD/knowledge-sharing sessions with architectural and consulting firms.
Support architects and consultants with technical documentation, product details, drawings, samples, mock-ups and other specification requirements.
- Government, Infrastructure & Airport Projects
Develop relationships with relevant Government agencies, public-sector organizations,
airport authorities, infrastructure developers and consultants.
Identify and pursue major government and infrastructure projects from the planning/design stage.
Work with consultants and project authorities to obtain product approvals and specifications.
Monitor tender opportunities and ensure MIGUA products are positioned appropriately for relevant projects.
- Channel Partner Development
Identify, evaluate and appoint suitable distributors, dealers and channel partners across North and East India.
Leverage an existing industry network to develop a strong and reliable distribution structure.
Establish clear commercial and performance expectations with channel partners.
Train and support distributors/dealers on MIGUA products, applications, positioning and project opportunities.
Develop joint business plans with channel partners and monitor their performance.
Ensure channel partners actively support project generation, specification and order conversion.
- Technical & Commercial Support
Develop strong product knowledge of Expansion Joint Covers and Performance Louvres.
Understand architectural, structural and technical requirements and recommend appropriate MIGUA solutions.
Coordinate with MIGUA’s technical and factory teams for product selection, technical approvals and project-specific requirements.
Prepare and support commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
Participate in negotiations with clients, consultants, contractors, distributors and dealers.
Follow opportunities from lead generation through final order closure.
- Market Intelligence & Competition
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor products, pricing, specifications and project activity.
Identify gaps and opportunities for MIGUA products in the regional market.
Develop and maintain a database of key architects, consultants, developers, contractors, government bodies, distributors and active projects.
Provide regular market intelligence and strategic feedback to the management.
- Independent Regional Management
Act as the primary representative of MIGUA across North and East India.
Manage the region independently with minimal supervision.
Plan and execute customer visits, project meetings, presentations, exhibitions and business-development activities.
Maintain professional CRM/MIS reporting, sales forecasts and project tracking.
Demonstrate strong ownership, discipline and accountability for regional performance.
Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
Civil or Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 10–12 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the building materials, architectural products, façade, construction or allied industries.
Strong experience in project sales, business development and architectural specification.
Experience with products such as Expansion Joint Covers, Performance Louvres, Façade Systems, Cladding, Roofing, Architectural Glass, Lighting or other technical architectural products will be highly relevant.
Proven experience working with Architects, Façade Consultants, Structural Consultants, Developers, PMCs, Contractors and Government agencies.
Experience in developing and managing distributors/dealers and channel partners is strongly preferred.

Candidates from companies dealing in architectural building products, façade systems, expansion joint systems, performance louvres, cladding, roofing, architectural glass, lighting, waterproofing, flooring systems or other technically specified building products would be particularly relevant.
The successful candidate will be expected to build the North & East India business substantially through personal market development, specification influence, key-account management and channel development, while representing MIGUA with a high level of technical and professional credibility.
