Role Description The Regional Legal Manager – Non Litigation is a full-time, in office role based in Indore. The role involves overseeing non-litigation legal matters related to housing finance operations within the assigned region, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and preparing legal documents, vetting loan and security documentation, providing legal opinions to business teams, and advising on legal risk mitigation.

The Regional Legal

Manager will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal consultants, monitor regulatory changes affecting housing finance,



and support compliance with statutory and contractual requirements. The role also includes maintaining accurate legal records, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements in legal and compliance workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with practical experience applying legal principles in financial services or housing finance.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and vetting loan, security, and contract documentation.
- Experience in Legal Consulting, providing clear legal opinions and guidance to business and operations teams.
- Sound knowledge of Legal Compliance, including regulatory and statutory requirements relevant to housing finance and financial institutions.
- Ability to manage Legal Affairs for a region, including coordination with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M or specialized qualifications in banking/financial law are an advantage.
- Prior experience in non-litigation legal roles within NBFCs, banks, or housing finance companies preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working on-site in Indore and managing regional responsibilities independently.
