Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Regional Business Manager role based in Varanasi.

The Regional Business

Manager will oversee business operations across assigned branches or territories, ensuring achievement of sales, portfolio quality, and profitability targets.

Responsibilities include leading and mentoring branch and field teams, monitoring performance metrics, and driving growth in both secured and unsecured products. The role involves planning and executing regional business strategies, reviewing loan processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies,



and strengthening risk management practices.

The Regional Business

Manager will build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, coordinate with central teams for product and process improvements, and use data and digital tools to optimize efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in regional or multi-branch management within banking, microfinance, NBFC, or related financial services.
- Strong skills in sales planning, business development, and portfolio management, with a focus on achieving growth and maintaining asset quality.
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate large teams, including field staff and branch managers, with a focus on performance, ethics, and customer-centricity.
- Proficiency in operational oversight, process adherence, risk management, and compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
- Comfort with using digital platforms, analytical tools, and MIS reports for decision-making and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in a regional, multilingual context.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Relevant experience working in rural or semi-urban markets and a strong understanding of inclusive finance and customer needs in these segments.
