Job Title: Regional Bid Manager

Role Overview:

The Regional Bid Manager will lead the end-to-end management of complex strategic bids across APMEA. The role ensures high-quality, consistent, and competitive submissions that align with business growth objectives. This position acts as a strategic advisor to sales executives and shaping win strategies, embedding governance, and elevating proposal quality through innovation and AI-enabled tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the bid process, from qualification through to submission and handover, for Sodexo's most complex, multi-million-euro, and strategically significant pursuits.
- Act as a strategic advisor, shaping win strategies, competitive positioning, and proposal themes with sales leaders and operations.
- Drive collaboration with sales, operations, finance, and subject matter experts across the region.
- Ensure proposals meet client requirements while adhering to corporate brand, messaging, and governance standards.
- Develop standardized templates, tools, and best practices to support bid excellence.
- Facilitate executive-level bid reviews, ensuring alignment with pricing guardrails, risk policies, and growth priorities.




- Govern bid standards and enforce approval workflows to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing outcomes, introducing AI-enabled tools, and reducing cycle time.
- Mentor and coach junior bid staff and country bid teams, building their capabilities through training, playbooks, and best practices.
- Oversee final quality control and compliance checks, ensuring seamless handoff to implementation teams.

Skills & Experience:

- Executive presence with the ability to advise senior sales leaders and influence win strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
- Detail orientation with a passion for producing high-quality, client-ready proposals.
- Robust project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
- Expertise in using AI tools, and automation to drive efficiency and improve win rates.
- Track record of coaching and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and elevating performance.
