Role Description The REEL EXTRACTOR is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru North. The role involves reviewing long-form educational videos and lectures, identifying key concepts, engaging moments, and high-impact explanations suitable for short-form content. The REEL EXTRACTOR will cut, assemble, and organize video clips into reels, ensuring they are aligned with the academy’s brand, pedagogical goals, and social media strategy.

Daily tasks include collaborating with faculty and marketing teams to understand content priorities, maintaining a structured archive of extracted clips, optimizing reels for various platforms, and ensuring timely delivery for social media posting.



The role also includes basic quality checks on audio and visuals and suggesting improvements to make reels more engaging and learner-friendly.

Qualifications

- Ability to work with video content, including identifying key segments, basic trimming, and organizing clips into clear, reusable reels.
- Understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, WhatsApp) and how short-form content performs and engages audiences.
- Attention to detail for maintaining audio-visual clarity, checking subtitles or captions, and ensuring content accuracy and consistency.
- Strong organizational skills to manage content libraries, naming conventions, timelines, and coordination with faculty and marketing teams.
- Basic familiarity with video editing tools or reel creation apps (such as CapCut, InShot, VN, or similar software).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to understand academic content in order to select meaningful and conceptually strong clips.
- Comfort working full-time in office in Bengaluru North and collaborating in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Prior experience in content creation, social media management, or video editing is an advantage; exposure to the Civil Services coaching ecosystem is a plus.
