ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Recruitment Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day delivery. You'll lead our team leaders and recruiting team, run daily operations, manage client delivery, and make sure mandates convert into closures. This is a hands-on role. You'll screen, guide and personally close senior mandates, not just supervise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team leadership and performance

- Lead the team leaders and recruiters: set daily and weekly targets for sourcing, submissions, interviews and closures.

- Track individual and team performance, spot gaps early, and coach, correct or escalate as needed.

- Run daily team operations: mandate allocation, prioritisation, and resolving day-to-day queries and blockers.

- Ensure every new mandate gets a first client submission within 48 hours of receipt.

JD understanding and mandate briefing

- Break down client JDs into must-haves, good-to-haves and deal-breakers before sourcing starts.

- Brief the team on each mandate and review early submissions to correct misalignment quickly.

2nd-level screening and submissions

- Conduct or oversee L2 screening, personally handling senior and leadership roles.

- Ensure only quality-checked profiles reach clients, with accurate candidate summaries and flagged gaps.

Leadership hiring

- Personally handle department-head, manager and senior mandates, including search, assessment, compensation discussions and closure.

- Manage offer negotiation and pre-joining engagement to reduce dropouts.

Client engagement





- Be the delivery point of contact for clients: requirement calls, feedback follow-ups, interview coordination and escalations.

- Build client trust through quick TAT and relevant submissions.

Reporting

- Own daily and weekly client reports and internal MIS: pipeline, submissions, interviews and closures.

- Keep ATS data accurate and current across the team.

- Share a weekly delivery review with the founder.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years in recruitment, with a significant portion at a recruitment agency or consulting firm. Corporate-only HR/TA backgrounds will not be considered.

- Proven experience leading a team of 5+ recruiters, or managing team leads, with measurable delivery outcomes.

- Demonstrated closures of leadership or senior roles, with examples you can walk us through.

- Strong JD-analysis and screening judgement, going beyond keyword matching.

- Hands-on with Naukri Resdex, LinkedIn sourcing, and at least one ATS.

- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.

- Clear, confident communication with senior candidates and client stakeholders.

REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS

- Own laptop, reliable high-speed internet and power backup.

- Available during business hours [confirm days/timings], and responsive on calls and team chat.

- Comfortable with daily output tracking and reporting.
