Job Title: React Native Developer About the Role: We are seeking a motivated React Native Developer to join our IT team in Mohali. You will build and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS that deliver intuitive user experiences and integrate reliably with backend services. This role has direct impact on product delivery and customer experience, requires close collaboration with product owners, designers, QA and backend engineers, and offers opportunities to influence mobile architecture and best practices.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS.
- Implement responsive, accessible and performant mobile UIs in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
- Integrate mobile apps with backend services via RESTful APIs and GraphQL, handling offline scenarios and synchronization.
- Build and maintain native bridges and modules when platform-specific functionality is required.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, memory, and stability issues across platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards and improve the team's development processes.
- Deliver CI/CD pipelines and automation for builds, testing and app store releases.
- Write and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure product quality.
- Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, technical design, and documentation.

Requirements

- Minimum 2-5 years of qualified experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, modern React patterns and hooks.
- Proven experience integrating mobile apps with backend services (REST/GraphQL) and handling offline-first scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with platform-specific debugging and building native modules when needed.
- Familiarity with mobile app lifecycle, performance optimization, memory management and battery usage considerations.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD automation and app store submission processes.




- Practical knowledge of unit and end-to-end testing for mobile applications.
- Understanding of authentication and secure data storage (OAuth/JWT, Keychain/Encrypted storage).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication in cross-functional teams.

Leadership Expectations

- Participate actively in sprint planning, technical estimation and delivery commitments.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews; promote clean, maintainable and testable code.
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices for mobile development.
- Provide technical input for architecture decisions and contribute to roadmap discussions.
- Communicate progress and technical risks to stakeholders clearly and proactively.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (B.Tech Computer Science preferred).
- 2 to 5 years of relevant mobile development experience with production-grade React Native applications.
- Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store is preferred.
- Demonstrable portfolio or code samples of mobile apps, with explanations of technical contributions and challenges solved.
