The position is responsible for sourcing raw materials to ensure a robust supply of materials to develop manufacturing of recent and existing products.
Responsibilities: ---
- Lead sourcing activities, supplier selection and negotiations efforts.
- Pro-actively build positive strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to optimize inventory levels and material flow while minimizing stock-out risks.
- Continually optimize supply chain with respect to price, inventory, supply continuity, and terms and conditions.
- Development of Sourcing strategy and execution while ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Price negotiation with suppliers.
- Market analysis, supply chain risk assessment, source selection, and contract negotiation. Evaluate market conditions in order to alleviate and mitigate supplier and raw material risks.
- Development of Alternate Sources of Raw Material & coordination with R&D; for necessary testing support.
