Responsible for managing project quantities, measurements, cost control, billing, subcontractor measurements, and commercial documentation at the site level, ensuring accurate quantity tracking and timely submission of project-related reports and bills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site measurements and prepare detailed quantity take-offs.

- Prepare and verify BOQ, measurement sheets, RA bills, and final bills.

- Monitor actual work quantities against approved BOQ quantities.

- Verify subcontractor and vendor bills based on actual site measurements.

- Maintain daily quantity and work-progress records.

- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Contractors, and Accounts teams.

- Track material consumption and identify quantity variations.

- Prepare rate analysis and support estimation for additional works.

- Monitor variations, extra items, and deviations from the approved BOQ.

- Assist in preparation and submission of client bills and subcontractor bills.





- Maintain proper documentation for measurements, approvals, and billing.

- Support cost monitoring and identify potential cost overruns.

- Prepare quantity-related MIS and periodic commercial reports for management.

- Ensure all measurements and billing documents are properly verified and approved.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

- 2–5 years of experience as a Site QS / Quantity Surveyor in construction or infrastructure projects.

- Strong knowledge of BOQ, billing, quantity estimation, and rate analysis.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and quantity surveying software/tools.

- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.

- Robust numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
