Hiring: Quantity Surveyor — Pre-Contract

Location: Kochi, India (Office-based)

We are a cost consultancy working on construction projects across Ireland and the UK. We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our pre-contract team.

What you'll do

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in accordance with ARM4/ARM5 and NRM measurement standards
- Perform quantity takeoffs using CostX and Cubit estimating software
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to subcontractors and suppliers
- Follow up with vendors, evaluate quote returns, and maintain procurement schedules
- Prepare Tender Cost Evaluations (TCEs) comparing vendor submissions
- Assist in pricing document preparation and submission
- Review drawings and specifications for scope identification and gap analysis
- Support package splitting and trade-level cost planning

What we're looking for

- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent




- Experience with pre-contract QS workflows — BOQ preparation, vendor management, cost evaluation
- Proficiency in CostX and/or Cubit for measurement and takeoff
- Knowledge of ARM4/ARM5 (Irish) and NRM measurement rules
- Robust Excel skills — pricing documents, schedules, cost reports
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
- Good communication skills for vendor coordination
