Quality Manager

Location :Silvassa

Reports to Senior Director, Global Quality.

JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS :

- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Operations or other technical fields.
- Diploma in Quality Management and Paint Technology.
- Hands-on Quality experience of 10 years and above.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Overall responsibility of Quality function.
- Lead the Quality team at site.
- Approving Production Orders based on Order reports. Verified the same with latest operational guidelines.
- Checking shift-wise QA report & forwarding the same for Daily meeting.
- Verifying the Hold / Reject status of the material & updating the same on report.
- Ensuring ONLINE & OFFLINE inspection & testing is done on time by the team members.
- Ensuring timely submission of COA along with the material being dispatched.
- Customer complaints management Receiving complaints, Analyzing the Root cause with concern team & forwarding the CAPA ensuring the effective implementation
- Ensuring Training of Quality team members, as per identified training needs.
- Train & motivate the team members to identify the non-conforming products.
- Avoid customer complaints due to non-conforming material & due to incorrect COA
- To achieve the targets of KPI’s.
- Enforce the team to perform the task with zero EHS incidents / Accidents.




- To ensure customers satisfaction related to Quality of the product being supplied.
- To ensure all documents & records are updated needed to maintain Quality of the products.
- To communicate with marketing on customer complaints & other Quality related matters.
- To ensure that housekeeping is maintained as per GMP
- To ensure that all PPEs are used wherever required.
- To take care of significant Environmental Aspects mentioned in IER e.g. Disposal of methylene-soaked tissue paper waste & cotton waste, Consumption of paper etc.
- To improve the awareness of HIRA & to monitor the same during day-to-day working.
- To be an active participant to improve quality level and customer satisfaction of organization through Six sigma projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain ISO standards documentation, conduct internal audits and successfully attend 2nd party and 3rd party audits.
- Develop/improve Lean culture inside organization and conduct continuous improvement activities.
- Improve safety level of organization through active participation in Safety trainings and activities.
- Provide training to people about ISO standards, Lean culture and six sigma methodologies to improve level of Quality, safety and environment.
- Periodically assessment of Quality, Safety and Setting management system through Internal audits to improve them continuously.
