Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager with solid experience in Press Shop, Sheet Metal Components and Automobile Industry. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, customer requirements, process control and continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete Quality function for Press Shop and Sheet Metal components.

- Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures and inspection systems.

- Monitor quality at incoming, in-process and final inspection stages.

- Handle customer quality requirements and resolve customer complaints.

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 5 Why, Fishbone and other problem-solving techniques.

- Prepare and implement 8D, CAPA and corrective/preventive action reports.

- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and applicable customer-specific requirements.

- Conduct PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan and MSA activities.

- Monitor SPC, PPM, rejection, rework and quality performance.

- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Maintenance and Engineering teams for quality improvement.

- Ensure proper control of press tools, dies, fixtures, gauges and measuring instruments.





- Conduct internal process, product and system audits.

- Develop and monitor quality KPIs and prepare management reports.

- Lead the quality team and provide training on quality systems and inspection methods.

- Work closely with automobile OEM/Tier-1 customers and ensure timely closure of quality issues.

- Drive continuous improvement and defect reduction initiatives.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Press Shop & Sheet Metal Manufacturing.

- Experience in Automobile OEM / Tier-1 industry.

- Good knowledge of IATF 16949 & ISO 9001.

- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA & SPC.

- Knowledge of 8D, CAPA, RCA, 5 Why and Fishbone Analysis.

- Knowledge of inspection instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector and Gauges.

- Good knowledge of drawing reading, GD&T; and customer specifications.

- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and quality reporting systems.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
