About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and process compliance across prototype development, machining, fabrication, assembly, and mass-production activities. The candidate will work closely with production, design, vendors, and customers to identify quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components.
- Inspect CNC machined, cast, die-cast, fabricated, and assembled parts.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, specifications, and control plans.
- Handle measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, VMS and CMM.
- Develop inspection plans and quality checkpoints for new products.
- Identify process deviations, defects, and root causes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct supplier quality inspections and vendor evaluations.
- Support PPAP, FAI, APQP, and other customer quality requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to reduce rejection, rework, and process variation.
- Conduct root-cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, and other quality tools.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure measuring instruments are within validity.
- Support customer complaints, 8D reports, and corrective-action closure.
- Establish and monitor quality standards for mass-production processes.




- Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Good knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with casting, die casting, fabrication, sheet metal, and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques.
- Hands-on experience with quality tools and documentation.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Experience in precision manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
- Knowledge of PPAP, FAI, APQP, MSA, SPC, and 8D.
- Experience working with external suppliers and machining vendors.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly on the shop floor. They should have a strong manufacturing mindset and be capable of independently identifying quality issues and driving them toward closure. Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,500.00 per month
