Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in sheet metal fabrication, automobile, engineering or precision manufacturing.

The candidate will be responsible for inspecting sheet-metal components and assemblies at different stages of production and ensuring that products meet customer drawings, dimensions, tolerances and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of sheet-metal components.
- Inspect parts as per customer drawings, specifications and inspection plans.
- Check dimensions, tolerances, hole sizes, bending dimensions, flatness and overall part geometry.
- Inspect components after processes such as laser cutting, CNC bending, welding and fabrication.
- Identify defects such as burrs, scratches, dents, dimensional variation, improper bending, welding defects and surface-finish issues.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, measuring gauges, etc.
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings, dimensions, GD&T; and tolerances.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, check sheets and quality records.
- Record and communicate quality issues/rejections to the production team.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) for quality problems.




- Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor rejection, rework and defect data and support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions and quality standards.
- Support final inspection and ensure products are ready for dispatch as per required quality standards.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Sheet Metal Quality / Quality Control.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Hands-on experience with Vernier, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis and CAPA.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T; will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Valuable observation, communication and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Candidate Profile

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Quality/Quality Control.
- Candidates with experience in sheet metal fabrication, automobile, auto components, engineering or manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a shop-floor/manufacturing setting.
- Freshers are not preferred.

Job Location: Vilholi, Nashik Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
