– QMS ENGINEER

Reporting To: Plant Head

Job Purpose

Responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, internal procedures, applicable quality standards, and maintaining proper quality documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and control QMS documents, formats, records, and traceability documents.

Conduct and coordinate internal and customer audits.

Conduct Part Audits, Process Audits, and Plant Audits as per defined requirements.

Prepare audit plans, checklists, reports, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Handle NCR, CAR, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and corrective actions.

Monitor and maintain quality records, inspection reports, material certificates, and customer feedback.

Ensure proper document control, revision control, and record retention.

Coordinate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Purchase, Stores, and other departments for quality-related issues.





Monitor vendor and sub-contractor quality performance and maintain relevant records.

Support FAI and customer inspection activities.

Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement in the QMS.

Ensure all quality documentation and records are updated, controlled, and audit-ready.

Support preparation for customer, internal, and external audits.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Quality, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in QMS/Quality.

Experience in the Aeronautical/Aerospace CQAG, Defence, FAI, audits, and quality documentation will be preferred.

Knowledge of QMS, Internal Audits, Process Audits, Part Audits, Plant Audits, FAI, RCA, CAPA, and NCR.

Valuable knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and quality documentation.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
