About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer for a reputed engineering and manufacturing organization involved in the manufacturing and fabrication of equipment and components for industrial applications.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality, implementing quality-control systems, coordinating inspections, handling customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspection of manufactured/fabricated components.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Quality Plans, inspection reports and check sheets.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances and customer quality requirements.
- Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Coordinate and monitor NDT activities such as DP/LPI, MPI and RT through qualified personnel/agencies.
- Ensure material identification and traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review Material Test Certificates (MTC), inspection certificates and test reports.
- Monitor welding and fabrication quality as per applicable drawings, specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase and Project teams for quality-related issues.
- Identify Non-Conformities (NCRs) and support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA).




- Conduct process/product audits and support implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain quality records and documentation for customer and internal requirements.
- Support customer inspections, third-party inspections and final product clearance.
- Monitor calibration status of measuring and testing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO 9001 and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement, defect reduction and process-control activities.
