Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials, bought-out parts, components, and packaging materials as per approved quality standards and specifications.
Verify supplier certificates, test reports, and material compliance documentation.
Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using measuring instruments and testing equipment.
Maintain incoming inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
Identify non-conforming materials and coordinate segregation, rejection, and corrective actions.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor closure of quality issues.
Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, stores, and production departments for quality-related concerns.
Support supplier quality audits, evaluation, and performance monitoring activities.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures.
Monitor supplier quality performance metrics and prepare periodic quality reports.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance incoming quality processes and reduce defects.
Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection and measuring equipment.
