We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team and handle quality inspection and documentation for stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and alloy steel products. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, semi-finished and finished products as per specifications and inspection requirements.
- Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
- Verify material grade, size, thickness, dimensions and product identification.
- Review and verify Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) and other material documentation.
- Conduct visual inspection of pipes, tubes, fittings, flanges, plates and other fabricated/manufactured products.
- Check products against customer specifications, drawings,
purchase orders and applicable standards.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), test records and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Monitor non-conforming products and assist in corrective actions.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and customer inspection teams when required.
- Ensure proper traceability of materials and products throughout the manufacturing/inspection process.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure measuring instruments are used properly.
- Support internal and external quality audits when required.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and ISO requirements.
