About the Company

Our client is a growing nutraceutical formulation and manufacturing organization focused on developing and manufacturing science-backed nutraceutical products for domestic and international markets.

The organization is building a modern, quality-led nutraceutical manufacturing platform with a 30,000 sq. ft. greenfield manufacturing facility, designed around WHO-GMP aligned, FSSAI-compliant and EU-GMP-aligned principles.

The facility will support domestic, institutional, export and contract manufacturing across multiple formats including:

- Tablets
- Capsules
- Powders
- Effervescent Tablets
- Sachets

Role Objective

We are looking for a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC laboratory and establish reliable analytical, documentation and laboratory-control systems supporting commercial manufacturing and regulatory compliance.

This is a hands-on QC leadership position, requiring strong laboratory expertise along with the ability to build and manage QC systems and teams in a growing organization.

Key Result Areas / Responsibilities

- Lead and manage day-to-day QC laboratory operations.
- Manage QC Analysts, Officers, Microbiology personnel and other laboratory staff.
- Review and approve:
- Analytical results
- Specifications
- Worksheets




- Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
- Manage testing of:
- Raw materials
- Packaging materials
- In-process samples
- Finished products
- Oversee analytical instruments and laboratory equipment, including:
- HPLC
- UV-Visible Spectrophotometer
- Dissolution Apparatus
- Moisture Analysers
- Other laboratory equipment
- Ensure compliance with:
- cGMP
- GLP
- GDP
- Applicable data-integrity requirements
- Lead and manage:
- OOS investigations
- OOT investigations
- Deviations
- CAPA
- Manage analytical:
- Method Validation
- Method Verification
- Method Transfer
- Lead stability studies and shelf-life monitoring.
- Maintain laboratory SOPs, documentation and data-integrity systems.
- Support regulatory, customer and third-party audits.
- Establish QC KPIs and continuously improve laboratory productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee microbiological testing and associated QC activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5–12 years of relevant QC experience in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Food or related regulated manufacturing.
- Robust hands-on laboratory experience is essential.
- Hands-on HPLC experience is mandatory.
- Prior experience supervising/managing QC personnel.




- Strong understanding of analytical testing, laboratory documentation and QC systems.
- Experience with OOS/OOT investigations, deviations and CAPA.
- Experience in analytical method validation, verification and transfer.
- Exposure to stability studies and shelf-life monitoring.
- Good understanding of cGMP, GLP, GDP and data-integrity requirements.
- Nutraceutical manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Candidates from suitable Pharmaceutical / Food backgrounds may also be considered.
- Should be comfortable working in a growing, greenfield organization where systems, processes and teams are still being established.

What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate should be a hands-on QC professional and people leader who can manage laboratory operations while actively contributing to the establishment and strengthening of QC systems.

Candidates who have experience in setting up or strengthening QC laboratories, managing analytical operations and building quality systems in a greenfield/start-up environment will be particularly relevant.

Candidates should be comfortable working from the plant location and relocating if required.

Compensation
