We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector who is detail-oriented and capable of performing dimensional inspection of precision-machined components.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of CNC-machined components.
- Inspect dimensions and specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform first-piece approval and patrol inspection during production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Use measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Outside & Inside Micrometers
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Gauge / Dial Bore Gauge
- Thread Plug & Ring Gauges
- Surface Plate
- Record inspection results and maintain quality inspection reports.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
- Coordinate with Production to resolve quality issues.
- Verify calibration status of measuring instruments before use.
- Maintain inspection, traceability, and quality records.
- Support customer inspections, internal audits, and ISO/QMS documentation.
- Assist in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and safety standards in the inspection area.

Required Skills




- Good knowledge of engineering drawing reading.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T; preferred.
- Good understanding of dimensional inspection and tolerances.
- Hands-on knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify dimensional and quality defects.

Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
- Or other relevant technical qualification.

Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Inspection, CNC Machine Shop, Precision Engineering, or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Freshers with good knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments are also encouraged to apply.
