Job Purpose: To ensure that all membrane products meet defined quality standards by conducting inspections, testing materials, monitoring processes, and maintaining proper documentation throughout the manufacturing cycle.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of membrane products.
- Check coating thickness, tensile strength, adhesion, and surface quality.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain and update quality check reports, inspection logs, and test records.
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and report the same.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for corrective actions.
- Monitor process parameters to ensure consistency in quality.
- Conduct random sampling and testing during production.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials as per quality norms.
- Support in quality audits and process improvements.
Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality processes.
- Knowledge of inspection tools and testing methods.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications / drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
