Role Description The Quality Control Engineer role at Maxwell Slitter Industries is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajpura.

The Quality Control

Engineer will perform daily inspections and tests on rotary slitter knives, separator discs, spacers, and shearing blades to ensure they meet established specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities include developing and executing quality control plans, monitoring production processes, documenting test results, and identifying root causes of nonconformities. The role involves collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions, maintaining quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The Quality Control

Engineer will also assist in audits,



support calibration of measurement tools, and help train team members on quality procedures.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, with experience applying inspection methods and testing procedures.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret data, investigate defects, and recommend improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly document findings and recommendations.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Quality Management principles, including standards, documentation practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Relevant engineering degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and manufacturing quality standards in metal tooling or related industries.
- Ability to work on-site in Rajpura, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience with quality reporting tools, basic statistical analysis, or quality management systems is an advantage.
