Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Quality Assurance/Quality Control role based in Chennai, with flexibility for partial work from home. The role involves performing routine quality checks on FMCG products and processes, ensuring adherence to internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

The team member will create and update quality documentation, standard operating procedures, and inspection reports, and will support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformities. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), preparing for and participating in internal and external quality audits,



and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production lifecycle. The role also includes monitoring key quality metrics, reporting findings to management, and supporting training efforts related to quality policies and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with experience in routine inspections, testing, and process validation.
- Knowledge of Quality Management principles, including documentation, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Practical understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) applicable to FMCG or related manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Quality Auditing, including preparing for audits, conducting internal audits, and supporting external regulatory or customer audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, operations, and supply chain.
- Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., root-cause analysis, CAPA, control charts) and basic proficiency in office productivity software.
