About the Role
We are looking for a QC Engineer to independently inspect and ensure the quality of elevator installation and service work before customer handover. The role involves site audits, documentation, snag verification, and compliance checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 100% QC inspection of elevator installations before handover.
- Check alignment, levelling, doors, safety circuits, ride quality and workmanship.
- Verify compliance with IS 17900:2022 and applicable lift regulations.
- Conduct stage-wise site inspections and identify quality/safety issues.
- Prepare inspection reports, snag lists and photographic documentation.
- Track and re-verify snag closures before final clearance.
- Conduct quality audits of AMC/service work.
- Report recurring quality issues and improvement opportunities to management.
