Job Summary

Pinnacle Infotech is looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through requirement analysis, test planning, and manual and automated testing.

The role involves identifying defects, validating software functionality, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products, including solutions involving AI/ML, Video Analytics, and IoT.

Key Responsibilities

- Review functional, technical, and business requirements to identify test scenarios and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Prepare detailed test plans, test strategies, and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, including positive and negative scenarios, for end-to-end validation.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate issues, verify fixes, and ensure defect closure.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify missing requirements and gaps in test coverage.
- Support performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as JMeter.
- Maintain test cases, test results, defect logs,



and requirements traceability matrices.
- Contribute to improving testing frameworks and processes.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in requirement analysis, test case design, and execution.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Experience testing AI/ML, Video Analytics, and IoT solutions.
- Knowledge of defect reporting and tracking tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with load testing and functional testing tools.
- Understanding of SaaS or cloud-based products.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good documentation, collaboration, and time management skills.
