Years of experience: 2.4 to 4 years A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for validating and ensuring end-to-end (E2E) quality, stability, and seamless software integration for the next generation of home appliances, mobile applications, and cloud solutions.

Roles / Responsibilities include -

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive End-to-End (E2E) test strategies and automated test suites across mobile applications (Android/iOS), appliance firmware, and cloud backend solutions.

Build and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile UI, RESTful APIs, and app-to-device communication protocols (e.g., via Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi Direct, local networks, MQTT).

Collaborate closely with Mobile Application Developers, Firmware/Hardware engineering teams, and Cloud Backend teams to establish end-to-end quality and early issue detection.

Validate secure, offline-first app behavior, data synchronization edge cases, and cloud connectivity restoration scenarios.

Identify, log, and manage defect lifecycles, escalating critical quality or performance bottlenecks and recommending viable solutions.

Set up, maintain, and monitor comprehensive Test Dashboards (for e.g. in JIRA) to provide real-time visibility into test coverage, execution progress, and defect metrics.





Plan and coordinate complex E2E test execution cycles by collaborating with cross-functional development, firmware, product, and QA teams to align on scope, timelines, and environment readiness.

Create and provide daily/weekly QA status updates, test execution metrics, and risk reports to a Development/QA Manager overseeing the unit.

Stay current with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD integration practices, and industry standards for IoT app-appliance-cloud testing.

Work Experience

- 2.4-4 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance with a primary focus on test automation and End-to-End (E2E) system testing.
- Proven experience testing and automating mobile applications interfaced with physical hardware or IoT devices (Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi provisioning, local network protocols).
- Robust experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, PyTest, RestAssured, or similar).
- Extensive experience with RESTful API testing, cloud solution validation, and backend service verification.
- Solid understanding of local data persistence, offline-first app behavior testing, and network conditioning.
- Experience with push notifications testing (Firebase Cloud Messaging/FCM) and network traffic inspection tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Postman, Wireshark).
- Bonus: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and automated build/test triggers.
