What you'll do

- Own quality across client projects, from first commit to release
- Work directly with engineers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues before they reach production
- Use AI tools and agents to generate test cases, expand coverage, and run exploratory testing at speed
- Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, integration) that keep up with rapid iteration
- Test AI-powered features, including LLM outputs, agent workflows, and prompt behavior, and design evals that catch regressions and hallucinations
- Review AI-generated code and tests critically, spotting the edge cases and subtle bugs that models miss
- Continuously improve our testing approach as the product, the stack, and the AI tooling evolve
- Set and uphold quality standards across projects, and make them easy for the whole team to follow

What we're looking for

Experience

- 2+ years in QA, SDET, or a similar quality-focused engineering role
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Pytest, Jest)
- Solid understanding of API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and testing across web and/or mobile




- Comfort reading and reasoning about code, and writing it when needed

AI-native mindset (essential)

- You already use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) in your daily workflow, not just occasionally
- You can prompt, guide, and verify AI output, and you know when not to trust it
- Curiosity about testing non-deterministic systems such as LLM apps, agents, and RAG pipelines
- You look for ways to automate your own work, then automate that too

How you work

- Strong ownership: you care about outcomes, not just tickets closed
- Clear, direct communication with engineers and clients
- Comfortable in a small, quick-moving team where you'll shape the process rather than follow one
- Able to manage your own time, especially in a remote setup

Nice to have

- Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks or building eval pipelines
- Performance, security, or accessibility testing background
- Prior work in a startup, agency, or consultancy setting
- Contributions to open-source or side projects that show how you build with AI
