Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 2 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Playwright/Selenium, JavaScript, API Testing, SQL, and automation frameworks . The candidate will work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues, improve test coverage, and ensure the quality of product releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Create and execute automation test cases using Playwright/Selenium with JavaScript .
- Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test utilities.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end automation testing .
- Automate critical business workflows and identify opportunities for test automation.
- Perform API testing using Postman and automate API test scenarios where required.
- Validate application data using SQL queries .
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Execute automated test suites as part of release and regression cycles.
- Maintain test scripts, test data, documentation, and automation reports.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Integrate and execute automation tests through CI/CD pipelines .
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, framework stability, and testing processes.

Required Skills
- 2 years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.




- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium .
- Good programming knowledge in JavaScript .
- Strong understanding of Automation Testing concepts and frameworks .
- Experience with Page Object Model (POM) or similar automation design patterns.
- Good understanding of STLC and SDLC .
- Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and End-to-End Testing.
- Hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman .
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON .
- Good SQL knowledge including SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY, and subqueries .
- Experience with Git/GitHub .
- Familiarity with Jira or other bug tracking tools .
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser Developer Tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with Playwright Test or Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
- Experience with automated API testing.
- Knowledge of test reporting tools.
- Understanding of Docker or containerized testing environments.
- Experience with parallel and cross-browser test execution.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent.
