Our client is building an AI-powered platform that automates commercial bank account switching for financial institutions. Their technology manages critical workflows across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Payroll transitions with a strong focus on reliability, security, auditability, and operational efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about building scalable automation solutions and driving quality across complex systems. In this role, you will take ownership of automation frameworks, testing infrastructure, and quality engineering initiatives that support our AI-powered fintech platform. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable releases, improve testing efficiency, and establish best-in-class quality practices.

This is a highly technical individual contributor role with significant impact on product quality and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Python.
- Build and enhance test infrastructure, reusable utilities, and automation tooling.
- Develop and execute automated tests across frontend, backend, and API layers.
- Integrate AI-driven testing solutions to improve coverage, efficiency, and test quality.




- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and release validation processes.
- Implement performance, reliability, and security testing practices.
- Analyse test results, identify risks, and drive continuous quality improvements.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions to improve testability and system reliability.
- Support the development of scalable quality engineering standards and processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
- Strong expertise in Playwright, Python, and modern test automation frameworks.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
- Experience with API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end automation.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and automation workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience within fintech, banking, SaaS, or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to performance testing and security testing methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of quality metrics, reporting, and test optimization strategies.
