Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 23 years of experience in manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web, mobile, API, and AI-enabled applications.

The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, API and database testing, and defect management. The candidate will also be responsible for validating AI-powered applications, evaluating AI-generated outputs, and contributing to continuous testing through CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to develop effective test strategies and test plans.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data for web, mobile, API, and AI-enabled applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory, performance, and UAT testing.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure application functionality and seamless system integration.

Automation Testing
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent tools.
- Enhance automation frameworks and develop reusable testing components to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.

API & Database Testing
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar platforms.
- Validate APIs, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
- Perform database testing and data validation using SQL.
- Verify data integrity across application and backend systems.

AI Application Testing
- Validate AI-powered applications, chatbots, voice bots, APIs, and intelligent workflows.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, reliability, hallucinations, bias,



and business compliance.
- Perform prompt testing and validate AI application behavior against defined business requirements.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers and Product teams to identify issues and provide actionable feedback for improving AI-enabled solutions.

Defect Management
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the defect life cycle.
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with development teams for timely resolution.
- Re-test fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure issues have been successfully resolved.
- Maintain accurate defect and testing documentation.

Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, AI Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
- Monitor test execution and prepare QA status and quality reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
- Contribute to QA best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 23 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and defect life cycle.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
- Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt testing, and AI application validation.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
