Role Description The QMS Manager Automotive is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System in line with automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include defining and updating quality procedures, coordinating internal audits, managing corrective and preventive actions, and monitoring key quality metrics.

The QMS Manager will collaborate with production, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure consistent product quality, high customer satisfaction, and compliance with automotive customer requirements.



The role also includes leading training on quality processes, supporting customer audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

- Experience in the automotive and automotive industry domains, with strong understanding of sector-specific quality standards and practices.
- Proven focus on customer satisfaction and customer service, including managing feedback and implementing improvement actions.
- Ability to design and deliver training related to quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and internal audit processes.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, with experience in corrective and preventive actions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams on-site in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; prior experience in battery manufacturing or electric mobility is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
