Role Description The QC in charge – RMx Plant is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role is responsible for overseeing daily quality control activities in the ready-mix (RMx) plant, including monitoring raw materials, mix design, and finished concrete quality.

The position involves conducting routine tests, maintaining records, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications, and coordinating with plant operations and site teams to resolve quality-related issues. The QC in charge will implement and update quality procedures, support internal audits,



and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry requirements. The role also includes training plant staff on quality practices, reporting non-conformities, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with the ability to implement and monitor plant-level quality procedures.
- Experience in Quality Management, including setting quality objectives, tracking performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or equivalent process discipline applicable to RMx plant operations.
- Exposure to Quality Auditing, including preparing for and participating in internal or external audits.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with concrete technology, mix design, and relevant industry standards (e.g., IS codes or similar).
- Ability to interpret test reports, maintain documentation, and use basic laboratory and testing equipment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a plant environment.
