Xonier Technologies is looking for a QA Tester to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software testing, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to identify, document, and track bugs effectively.
You will be responsible for testing web applications and ensuring that our products meet quality, functionality, usability, and performance standards before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing for web applications.
- Retest fixes and ensure reported issues are properly resolved.
- Maintain proper documentation of test results and defects.
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide QA inputs.
- Conduct sanity and smoke testing before releases.
- Help ensure product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Good understanding of manual testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience writing test cases and test scenarios.
- Good understanding of bug life cycle.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Zoho, or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of API testing is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of SQL/database testing is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred
- Experience testing SaaS/web-based applications.
- Knowledge of Postman or other API testing tools.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
